In a surprising collaboration that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
